| Oh man Its been a while since I've been here. My kitty passed away a few weeks ago. The hard drive in my laptop did the same a few weeks before that. There have been way too many deaths this year. 2 pets and 3 friends and one device.
On another note Jan & Ginny will be going to tour Ireland for a Month come August 27th. Ginnys maiden name is McCarthy. And she want to go visit where her family immigrated from. This would be interesting to see. She has a New England accent. I can just see her and the locals trying to understand each other. | | |

| Sigh, what a week. It's seen friends go into and come out of The hospital and jail. Sorry, the was probably confusing. I mean one friend in each. Not several friends in both. | | |
| Well, Last night we shut down our main web server. It had been running for 8 years. In that time it ate 1 hard drive and one video card. It had moved to various locations and was on various connections. ISDN, sDSL, an ATM, and a couple different T1's. But, by and large it was on and serving data for the entire time. it was a lowly 450Mhs Powermac G4 server. We were horrendously busy this week transferring all the sites up to a new unmanaged server at a data center back east sitting on a pair of OC2's Thats like 48 T1's I think. The cost of the new server is just 10% of what we were paying for services to operate the old server on a single T1. | | |
